  • The husband got so excited knowing that this week's post is all about his plant babies. Lol. The number of plants we have at home is reaching a high that needs some controlling. 😅 But the wife doesn't deny that it does spruce up the space and make the home more lively. This arch was meant for display shelves but due to many factors, it didn't happen. Thus, this space has now become an area for our statement plant piece in our home. We are still on the lookout for something taller and distinctive, but this works for now.
  • We dedicated a space in the service yard as the plant corner so that it wouldn't be too all over the place. These two shelves from Taobao work really well for us to fit with the theme of the house. The husband's first love was cactus, and it has now moved on to leafy plants.
  • The shelves allow the husband to hang his grow lights as a replacement for direct sunlight which we don't really get at our place. The cactus may not seem appealing to many, but when the flower blooms, it is a very beautiful sight. 😍
  • Greenery in the toilet has also become increasingly popular these days. We love how low cost, and low maintenance the eucalyptus from the wet market is (no watering required). Not forgetting it gives off a very nice fragrance when we enter the bathroom.
  • Our next choice was a leafy plant that we got randomly from world farm nursery.
  • The best thing about keeping plants is how happy it makes you feel. Looking at this bloom definitely lifts up our mood and makes us want to provide more and better care for it.
  • Other than life plants, we also place preserved & dried flowers around the house as they are meaningful pieces that the wife receives from the husband. 😊 If you have yet to start a jungle in your home, it is time you do. 😛
