  • A separate dining room offers a great way of enjoying valuable time with friends and family in a relaxed, calm environment. I am so glad that my bto have a separate area to accommodate to a dining space. But today, I’m sharing my dining room and the few changes I’ve made.
  • Our initial theme was monochrome. Hence we bought a black dining table and chairs. However, as year passed our theme gradually changed to the current ones. And so, I decided to change things slowly.
  • Chairs are the first furnitures that I purchased and changed. I was invested with rattan furnitures and rattan do goes very well with my earthy home. They said little change does make a big impact ! However, our bench was under-use and so I decided to sell it off and get a separate dining chair instead.
  • Beside chairs, I decided to change the pendant lamp from black to brown and so glad with the outcome. The dining area are slowly coming in. I’ve added a few frames too to our dining area to complete the look. Finally, I have settled down with the look of the dining area.
  • Many more changes came along over six years and I’m sure there will be more to come. But now it’s so much brighter and more relaxed and not staid and so stiff and formal. Don’t be afraid to make changes and try not to stick to one particular theme. You never know when you want to have a change in your house.
