  • We wanted to walk into a peaceful and tranquil space on entering our living room, nested with the outdoor greenery of our estate.
  • We did quite a bit of hacking to open up the space of our layout, ensuring a lot of adaptable spaces where areas transition from one to another. This allows for on-demand communal spaces without having to limit our design. For example, our workspace area can be converted into an extra dining space when we host our friends and family for gatherings.
  • Our open concept kitchen and dining space allows for natural sunlight during the day and a different mood with warm white lighting for a cosy ambience in the night.
  • We wanted a little art gallery at home, so we dedicated a niche for Slow Dance - An art piece & visual illusion by Wonder Machines. With a focused light in the evenings, the dancing feather illusion is a real treat for the eyes!
  • Our workspace & “workshop”. On occasion you can find us engaging in Arts & Crafts, DIY projects or halloween costume crafting here. Our tables are placed in the middle of the room to allow a larger field of view which overlooks the greenery when my husband works from home. The placement also allows us the flexibility to move my custom metal frame desk around the space.
  • The bookshelf that sits behind the desks also functions as a display shelf- showing our favourite items tucked away.
  • This corner is a favourite of our guests! A little nook for reading, painting or working out. We call it the Zen Room. It's also an adaptable space with the ability to create a guest room in seconds by sliding out a concealed door.
  • Our common bathroom is tiled with big 1200 x 600mm tiles across the vanity and the shower feature wall.
  • We approached our bedroom design slightly differently, a darker element with warmer wood. Walking in, you are greeted with a splash of colour- a Ronan Bouroullec print on the wall. Love this odd shape mirror as its angles not only makes us look slim, but breaks the monotony of straight edges.
  • We used fluted glass for our Master Bathroom entrance and pottery blue mosaic tiles to add a little quirk to the bedroom. It's always a struggle for my husband and I to get out of this room with the Warehouse Hotel-inspired look!
  • Our niches for the shower area feature the same pottery blue mosaic tile finish!
