  • In our previous post, we provided an overview of our kitchen space and shared insights gained from our personal experiences. Building upon this, we've identified additional tips to optimize the usability and functionality of our kitchen. Recognizing that the kitchen serves as more than just a utilitarian space for meal preparation, but also as a center for nourishment, social connection, creativity, tradition, and well-being, we've implemented the following renovation ideas in our new home: 1. Countertop Material: Opting for Cosentino's Dekton surface over quartz for our countertops was a deliberate decision. Dekton's superior scratch resistance, stain resistance, and fire and heat resistance appealed to us, especially after experiencing slight yellowing with our previous quartz surface. After residing in our new home for five months now, we've appreciated the low-maintenance qualities and its resilience to stains. Cleaning it with mild soap and water is truly effortless.
  • 2. Pull-out Sauce Rack: Customizing a pull-out drawer within our kitchen has proven to be a practical solution. Pull-outs allow us to transform an otherwise difficult-to-access space into one with good overview and easy access to our things. Additionally, they are perfect for individuals of every age, including seniors, making them easy to use.
  • 3. Kitchen Organization and Design Enhancement: We've incorporated a dedicated niche for our cookbook and cookware, seamlessly integrating functionality with aesthetics in our home design. This thoughtful addition not only organizes our culinary resources but also enhances the overall ambiance of our kitchen space. We hope you find these tips useful. Stay tuned for our next post.
