  • Time to eat! Welcome to our dining area, which houses one of our favourite and most expensive piece of furniture in the house - the dining table. The table was sourced from The Table Guy SG, and is made of black american walnut. We went down for their New Year sale and managed to score a 2.4m long slab that we fell in love with at first sight.
  • Another signature piece in this space is also our chinese calligraphy print on the wall. It reads "一生兩人三餐四季" which means one life, two people, three meals, four seasons - a simple promise of companionship.
  • On the right corner of the area, there are three shelves that we got Charlene's dad to help us install. During the renovation phase, we were wondering if we should hack down this recess part of the wall. However, there'd still be a beam (the protruding part beside the shelves) that we can't hack away. So we just left it as it is and decided to use it as a decorative space and a functional spot to house the modem. This wall is always a constant work in progress, especially since that's where our modem and internet related stuff are based at.
  • How our dining area looks like in relation to the living room!
