  • The dining area of my home is integrated with the living room and it was made to blend in seamlessly with the use of colourful hues, mismatched furniture and different lights to create that eclectic vibe.
  • To make use of the wall I decided to have some starage options available so that I could declutter my home even more, so I went with the flexible Kallax system from Ikea to house all the small miscellaneous items.
  • A mixture of chairs with backrests and stools were used to maximise space and create flow around the table so that the space doesn't feel too tight when walking around the table.
  • Warm lighting is used to create mood and ambience especially during the evenings when I tend to turn the house lights off and just use the lamps. It helps my mind to unwind as well. Definitely helps overall mental wellbeing.
  • This is how it looks like if I turned on my main ceiling light, so it becomes even brighter if the need arises but I seldom do this anyway. I love how the warm wood textures compliment the white walls of my home, and the injection of colours maintain a happy vibe that is inviting for conversations to happen over meals and gatherings.
