  • Here's this week look of the house - the dining room! This is one area which I was really excited to design and plan during our renovation season. As you enter our home, you will be greeted by this 1.8m white quartz island. Instead of the usual dining table, my uncle recommended building an island which will be the centrepiece of the whole open kitchen. What I love is the white quartz and how it matches nicely with the brown oak laminates. This table serves as both our preparation as well as gathering area for friends and family. The table fits 6 people nicely but with a little squeeze, it can accommodate up to 10 people!
  • Our dining chairs are from Taobao. We decided to get ours from here as we found dining chairs to be costly in Singapore. After reading the good reviews, we decided to go ahead with this seller. We got 6 chairs in total, 4 green and 2 blue. The colours give the house a more vibrant and pop look!
  • My fav corner aka the coffee corner! I love how everything is unintentionally white! Featured here are my Toyomi water dispenser, coffee capsules gachapon machine, Nespresso coffee machine as well as a few of my fav cups. I'm in love with the Nespresso Vertuo Pop machine, definitely one of my best buys in the house! The coffee is super creamy and rich, tastes similar to those in the cafe! The gachapon machine is a cute addition to the corner! All my guests will comment on it and say SO CUTE!! Little did they know my capsules are too large to come out 🤪 so it just serve as a display item!
  • The poster is one my fav!! We’re a morning person so breakfast poster is very apt for us. And I have unknowingly become a cup addict ever since I have my own house. I love collecting cute cups even if it was just use as a display. Here are some of my latest collections from my recent trip to Japan!
  • I'm thankful for the amount of open shelves and drawers I have in the house. Featured here are some of my collectibles from my overseas trips as well as Hooga's clock and diffuser, Taobao's cute lamp! I love that I can change around the display items depending on the season or occasion of the year!
  • There's lots of drawers at the dry pantry as well as under the kitchen island. I definitely am struggling to find things to store in these places hahaha. Oh yes, we also have a power socket on our kitchen island so we can have steamboat!! A good tip would be to build more storage space because you never know when you will need it and plan your power sockets in advance according to your lifestyle.
  • As for the lights, we opted for track lights to keep it seamless and minimalist! Stick around to find out more about the other areas of my house!
