dual colour concepts of throne-worthy bathroom!

  • Welcome to throne-tour with @__madeofpebbles! The bathrooms are both design with the intention to inject colours into the space. The MBR is mostly in blue and common bathroom is in refreshing pink.
  • We picked out a larger basin with rounded finish to compliment the soft finish on the tap as well.
  • One small detail we kept in mind is the bottle traps, which we searched and purchased for in place of the usual plastic bottle traps that is usually supplied with. That is also because we did not have any carpentry or cabinet shelvings in the bathroom, so we would like the finish of the pipings to be cohesive in chrome.
  • The common bathroom is using mainly pink and grey combination unlike the MBR which is blue and white.

  • Another quirky idea we had was to have a wired mesh glass as the door door since it is facing the kitchen. It was a good change in comparison to the usually opaque bathroom doors. Having half-glass and aluminium made the door much sturdier with an additional weight on it.
  • The shower set are mostly coming from Grohe. We want to ensure the fittings we have are of quality, to avoid any damage in the long run. The MBR has a feature tile of blue - definately reminding us all of childhood blue tiles, and also a swimming pool.
