It's been 2 years and I felt a little bored with our wooden shoe cabinet. 
Felt a little bulky and not quite feeling the wood colour on a random day, so I decided to make a change without spending a single cent! 
Swapped out an IKEA cabinet that's been underutilised in our of our home offices! It was tempting to just head out and pick a new shoe cabinet, but I wanted to give this a try. While it's not designed to be a shoe cabinet, we managed to make it work! Decluttered some shoes and knick knacks as this is smaller than our old shoe cabinet. But we're loving this new look! The space feels much brighter and more inviting now. It’s amazing what a little intentionality can do! Which do you prefer?
