  • So during our days leading up to key collection, we got a little too excited and decided to do our own sketch-up on our house to have a feels of the space and visual. We wanted a low lying floating shelf as the TV console and we didn't want a coffee table to make the space feel more spacious. We also didn't want a ceiling fan because we feel that it will spoil the overall aesthetic of the living area. We didn't insert much stuff except the main furniture which is the TV and sofa and a speaker.
  • With our sketch-up, we were able to better illustrate to our ID roughly how we want the living room to look like. The render didn't have a floating shelf, a coffee table was inserted though and somehow an additional ceiling fan too. Pretty much a standard living room set up i guess. We told our ID we will be using specifically the Samsung frame and the Ligne Roset Togo sofa. So the final design has to revolve around this 2 furniture and appliance.
  • So this is the final outcome of our living room after all the furnishing and decoration. This definitely surpass our anticipating, visualization and expectation. Not just us, but also our ID.
  • Next up we have our study room, which is just behind our living room. Just a plain boring sketch-up here. Nothing to see here actually.
  • But when it comes to the rendering, we specifically told our ID that we wanted black round metal handles for our study. We also told our ID we want lights in our display cabinet. So far so good for this rendering.
  • And this is the final outcome of our study / display cabinet area. Same thing. This definitely surpass our anticipating, visualization and expectation. Not just us, but also our ID.
  • This is the sketch-up of our dining / kitchen. We didn't want overhead cabinetry. Neither do we want a cooker hood. Just empty top with 3 spherical lamps. We also wanted an LG knock knock fridge, so we added that in.
  • So this is the rendering of our coffee station / dining / kitchen area. Other than the choice of dining set, everything else seems to be pretty much how we expected it to be.
  • Definitely our dining set has to be american walnut because that is mainly the theme of our house. The reality is definitely what we envision and expected it to be. Totally spot on. Same thing. This definitely surpass our anticipating, visualization and expectation. Not just us, but also our ID.
  • So this is the 3D mock up of our floor plan. The red highlighted area is the space that we have shown you through this post. Hope it helps to give you guys a better visual on our living / dining space.
