  • Hello kawan-kawan, welcome back to another article from Beaconstrips! Today, we're diving into one of our favorite topics: lights! We adore lighting here as it’s truly one of the greatest ways to change up the vibe of a room. We’ll share some of our favorite lights in our home, and hopefully, this inspires you to make some quality choices in your home renovation journey. 1) The Centerpiece: The Orange Pendant Light This pendant lamp is one of our favorites, and we got it on Carousell. It emits a unique warm, orange glow that stands out in our block, giving it a bit of a TVA feel (from Loki). We also managed to get it at nearly 30% off, making it a great bargain.
  • This wonderful glow can be complemented or contrasted against our living room tracklights, creating a more dynamic atmosphere.
  • 2) The Wild Card: The Speaker Lamp This overhead lamp may not seem as cool as the others at first glance, but it has a hidden feature: it’s also a Bluetooth speaker. We discovered this while light shopping one day when N noticed it and asked the salesperson. This overhead speaker is perfect for playing ambient music while entertaining guests or preparing meals in the kitchen. It’s another unique and functional piece in our home.
  • 3) The Reliable: Cove Lights Functionality meets style with our cove lights, recommended by our interior designer. He suggested adding cove lights to the carpentry. We’re so happy we listened because the cove lights are incredibly functional, illuminating spaces that need it most. Consider installing cove lights in the kitchen or even the bathroom for a similar effect.
  • 4) The Interchangeable: &Tradition Lamp and The Macaron lamp Depending on the mood, we do change out our lamps if we feel like we want to, and these two lamps are the ones in our place that we would tweak accordingly. If we feel like something is a bit much, we’ll swap out the macaron lamp for the simpler &Tradition Lamp. Consider having an alternative lamp so you can keep your space vibrant and fun.
  • 5) The Cool: Bangoibanga Lamp This lamp is just so cool. It was gifted to us by a friend who no longer needed it, and the ambiance it brings to our home is amazing. The lamp is wireless and can be placed on the TV console, dining table, coffee table, or even on the floor, depending on the situation. The options are limitless, making it a great option to zhush up any space.
  • 6) The Scene-Stealer: The Avocado Lamp Ahh, the avocado lamp. We've mentioned this lamp many times in different articles. This statement piece was hand-carried from Seoul, and we love the light it emits. It’s a unique addition to our home, and in Singapore, it feels quite special. Keep an eye out for cute lamps during holidays—you might end up with a showstopper like this one! That’s all for today! Beaconstrips, out!
