  • Hello everyone! Welcome to this week's post where we’ll be introducing our guest bathroom! The color theme of this bathroom is a bit different compared to other parts of our home. We opted for a green color theme to suit the ambiance of this space. It took us several trips to tiles and stone showrooms to find the right color combinations that create a hotel-like atmosphere. After much deliberation, we settled on a combination that perfectly complements the green theme while maintaining a sense of elegance. And we have no regrets; our friends and family truly appreciate the attention to detail in our bathroom design.
  • We focus on both style and functionality when it comes to the bathroom. For new homeowners-to-be, we're sharing some tips and aspects to create a space that is both inviting and practical: 1. Choose a Distinct Color Scheme: This is important as it not only influences the mood and atmosphere of the space but also contributes to its visual appeal and reflects personal style. We would recommend creating a mood board to help you visualize your design ideas, clarify your style preferences, explore color palettes, compare different options, and inspire creativity.
  • 2. Carefully Select Fixtures and Features: Here are some of our key considerations when it comes to toilet fixtures and features – quality and durability, style and aesthetic, functionality, ease of maintenance, and budget. We opted for gunmetal accessories including a shower system, water tap, and mirror to match the color scheme. The sleek, modern design of these fixtures adds a touch of sophistication to the overall aesthetic. 3. Simplify Maintenance with Smart Storage Solutions: As experienced homeowners, we learned the importance of having storage space for bathroom cleaners. So, this time around, we installed a cabinet to keep things simple and easy to maintain. We store most things inside the cabinet. This not only helps declutter the space but also ensures that everything is easily accessible when needed.
  • 4. Invest in a Ventilation System: This is crucial due to the humid weather in Singapore, where most toilets tend to grow mold during the rainy season. We installed a ventilation system for its sleek design and overall airing function. The ventilation system helps to keep our toilet dry.
