  • When we first started envisioning my new home, we knew we wanted every detail to be just right. So, we decided to take on the challenge and design it ourselves! Swipe down to see the raw render!
  • Using SketchUp, we created a 3D render with precise attention to every dimension, aiming to bring our vision as close to reality as possible. Here’s a look at the initial sketch of the living room, where we carefully mapped out each corner and piece of furniture. To provide some separation from the main door, we designed a partition that also serves as a stylish and functional shoe cabinet.
  • Here’s the sketch of our door entryway & living space! We spent a lot of time detailing each element, especially to allow more natural light to flow in while incorporating a reasonably sized settee.
  • The reality! We’re thrilled with how it turned out – our contractor executed the design perfectly! We’re especially in love with the rounded corners. A blend of our ideas coming to life in every element.
  • We designed our living area to be minimalist and free of built-ins, allowing for greater flexibility.
  • We found a TV console on Taobao that closely matches our design, and it fits the space perfectly! Reflecting on this journey, we are thrilled to see how the digital plans have turned into a real, tangible space. From conceptualizing in 3D to feeling it in 3D – there’s nothing quite like stepping into a vision that was once just a sketch! Follow us for more tips!
