  • As we have 2 kids of different gender, we have to style up the room and make sure it doesn't look too boyish or girly. It wasn't too difficult to do a gender neutral bedroom. Read on to find out how we did it. We tried to keep the colours use here muted and used mainly white, grey and wood colours.
  • Different colour bedding sets are being used to add some colours to the room and also to differentiate the beds for the individual kid. We also decided on a milky white bedframe as we like how classic it is. Due to the aircon unit position, we have to move the beds into this formation so that none of them will be under the aircon directly. We added some character to the room by installing wallpaper next to the bed. Love how it turns out!
  • Wood and ratten furniture are being used as it adds some cosiness to the room. We have a small chest of drawers here to hold their daily clothes in it. They can access to their clothes easily and it is also pretty small, not taking up too much walking space in the room.
  • We added minimal pastel coloured decor around to spruce things up a little.
  • Roller blind is being installed here instead of curtain as the position of the window makes roller blind a better choice. We didnt want to do venetian blind as we knew how troublesome is it to deal with the dust trapped.
