  • Here's a look into our ever growing plant collection in our home. We love the life that plants add into our home, even though we have no balcony and no outdoor plants. Hope they survive and grow/thrive together with us! In this dining room gallery corner, we have our statement piece, Audrey. (Ficus Audrey, a type of banyan tree). It was "The One" when we were searching for a mid - large sized plant, love the crooked stem & rounded green leaves.
  • This is our 1st plant ever in our new home. It has since grown so much into a very bushy plant! This is the Money Tree Pachira Aquatica from IKEA. Love the star shaped leaves & it goes very well with the ceramic pot we found for it. Instead of depotting the plants, we usually keep them in their nursery pots and place them into the nicer looking pots, so that we can interchange the pots when necessary.
  • We also have a few more unique plants - Left is the Synogium Albo, Right is the Alocasia Black Velvet. We love the Synogium Albo for its variegated green/white/yellow leaves, and the Alocasia Black Velvet for its unique velvet texture.
  • Close up of the beautiful Syngonium Albo.
  • Another lovely centrepiece of the home - the white orchid (Phalaenopsis, also known as moth orchids). It is so timeless and elegant, and has been in great shape for 2 months now! Way better than a fresh flower bouquet! When the blooms die off, after a few months, it can also regrow more flowers in the future.
  • Another centerpiece of the home, is a jar of preserved flowers that brings that pop of colour to the home. We engaged our wedding florist to customize this for us. We love that it lasts much longer than a fresh flower bouquet.
  • This is our miniature plants collection, placed on the Mr's study table. They are very lovely/cute Begonia Rex (left) and Stephania Nova. We got them from the Gardeners Day Out community market that is hosted at Hort Park every 3rd Saturday of the month - do check it out! :)
  • This is one of the Mrs' favourite plant, as it looks so zen and calming. This is a miniature bonsai looking plant, and it is placed on the Mrs' study table, perfect for destressing while working. We also got this from the Gardeners' Day Out.
  • One of Mr's favourite plant - Anthurium Crystallinum. This is a mid size plant & requires less sunlight. We have placed it away from the window.
  • Another interesting plant that we currently have - Anthurium radicans x Luxurians, a cross breed plant. This groovy and glossy texture is also very special!
