  • Welcome to our guest room. We have 2 guest rooms, but to date, we have only set up one room. The other room is currently still a storage space for boxes that we have yet to unpack. 😅 #truestoryofanewhomeowner
  • On normal days, this is how the room looks like. We kept it really simple with just a recliner chair & a movable display + book cabinet. We wanted the space to look spacious on days when we do not have any guests.
  • On the other side of the room, we have a drawer cabinet (which we do not recommend, thus not providing the link to it, quality is bad) to put the wife's art supplies and other miscellaneous items. We also placed a clothes hanger for guest (if any) to hang their clothes. In all our rooms, we stick our aircon and fan remote control beside the on/off switch with 3M velcro tape. We liked the idea that after switching on, we get to get hold of the remote control right away. In this picture, you can also see what our concealed door looks like at the back. A door stopper with soft closing & a simple knob to lock the door from inside.
  • We got this arch glass display & book cabinet from Taobao. The quality was surprisingly good. The assembly of the cabinet comes with video instruction so it was very do-able. When the room is set up for guests, we placed the recliner chair next to this cabinet. It serves as a reading corner as well when we have the feel to read. 😂
  • The cabinet is very sturdy. We placed quite a number of books and heavy items in the lower cabinet with nil problems so far.
  • This queen-sized inflatable bed is a major love. After inflating we still have sufficient space in the room. The inflating process was also the best that we have come across. Plug into the electrical socket, turn the knob, self inflate in 3mins or less, AMAZING 😍 You can choose to put on a bedsheet for your guest or just sleep as it is (very comfy as it is velvety & smooth). After you draw the curtains, a pillow and blanket are all it takes to snuggle into bed comfortably. ❤️
