  • As our name suggests, He promised her a Forest - 👵🏻 G’s love for nature is evident in the many corners of our home. We love how the greens add a sense of tranquility to a space, hence we have bits of green in different areas of our home. Whether it’s live potted plants, stalks of foliages in vases, propagated cuttings, dried foliages, or faux plants… each and every one is well-loved in our indoor forest! 🌿
  • Our living room extends to a small outdoor balcony where most of our potted plants are at. We used to have a few house plants in our home but we have since moved them to the balcony to make space for our little one ☁️. As the balcony is also where we hang our laundry, it is a limited space for an outdoor garden. As much as we hope to grow our garden, our laundry has also been growing in amount since ☁️ came into our lives, so the garden has been neglected for a while! 🥲
  • 🌿 in the living area | A stalk of foliage in a vase never goes wrong in beautifying an open shelf! The leaf on the left was a broken stalk from a potted plant. 👵🏻 G loves appreciating the natural process of withering and decay.. the lessons we take away from plants and flowers. The willow branch on the right is a faux plant we bought from Hooga.
  • 🌿 in the dining area | Whenever 👵🏻 G has leftover foliages from her floral orders, she dries them and puts them in corners of the home. Dried foliages gives a vintage and muted look to the decor area.
  • Styling tip: if you feel like something is missing there, add a little greens! ✨
  • 🌿 in the living area | Propagated cuttings are beautiful decor as well - it’s especially satisfying to see the growing roots in the water.
  • 🌿 in the living area | In a small space, we make use of our vertical space to hang plants on the curtain rod to add more greens to our home.
  • 🌿 in ☁️‘s play area
  • 🌿 in the bathroom
  • 🌿 in the bedroom | As our bedroom curtains are usually drawn for privacy, the space has very little light so plants don’t thrive here. After trying to have plants in the bedroom for a few times (to no avail), we are now happy with a faux plant that lasts forever and is easy to maintain! 🥹
  • 🌿 in the kitchen | A faux floral arrangement on the kitchen hood
  • 🌿 in the outdoor balcony | We have been wanting to tidy our outdoor garden for the longest time, telling ourselves that we will do it on a day which we don’t have laundry hanging in the balcony… but the day never comes because laundry has been never-ending with a baby 😛 One day.. 😬 We are just thankful that some plants are still thriving in our neglected garden!
  • We hope our forest inspire you to add bits and pieces of greens in little corners of your home! 🍃
