This marks the 4th Christmas we’re celebrating in this house. I try to switch up the theme annually, and this time, I went with earthy tones paired with shimmering golds for a touch of elegance. Here’s a peek at our tree. It’s preloved, and most you see on it have been recycled from past years. The only new purchases are the ribbons and those stunning gold branches that bring it all together. It’s proof that festive magic doesn’t need to come at the expense of sustainability!

Now, let’s talk about the sofa! I gave it a fresh Christmas look this year with cozy throws and cushions in green tones, complementing the overall vibe. No mantelpiece? No worries! This living room corner has become our makeshift mantel, and it’s the perfect spot for some festive cheer. With touches of Christmas decor like candles, ribbons, and a garland, it adds a cozy, seasonal vibe to the space without the need for a traditional mantel.
Here’s another view of the living room. I’m still obsessed with wreaths and ribbons, but this year, I switched up the ribbon colors to match the earthy tones and shimmering golds.
