  • Welcome to our kohsy bedroom! As the bedroom is a place for rest, we have kept it very minimal with no excess decorations or digital distractions (television) to help maintain a focus on sleep and rest. With only the necessary - bed, bedside tables & wardrobe, our bedroom has an overall clean and clutter-free look that contributes to a clearer mind and a more relaxed feeling as we unwind for the night. While the rest of our house is predominantly in dark wood tones, we chose light neutrals, such as soft whites, beiges, and light grays instead for our bedroom.
  • Our bedroom from another POV! While the vanity corner is also housed within our master bedroom, we chose one with sufficient storage so as to keep the area clean and clutter-free too. We share more about our vanity corner in a recent post "Our cosy Taoabo vanity corner under $500, with custom drawers".
  • For our bed headboard, our ID helped build a reinforced partition wall which we limewashed over. This helped save us a couple of thousands compared to the traditional carpentry bedhead and bedside tables while still achieving a similar result of a cohesive and symmetrical look. With the reinforced partition bed headboard, it allowed us to to flush-mount our bedside sockets nicely.
  • Matching bedside tables and feature wall lights from Taoabo to complete the look
  • Having different lighting options allows us to adjust the mood to suit various activities, like reading, relaxing, or getting ready for bed. On top of the regular overhead lights, these softer, ambient lightings help create a warm and relaxing atmosphere.
  • A bedside charging dock helps keep the bedside table neat
  • Day curtains for natural light diffusion into the room during the daytime and dimout curtains to keep the lights out on our sleep-in Sundays. Our dimout curtains are also smart-enabled to open and close at specific times of the day automatically.
  • Our 2.5m long wardrobe utilises the space of our spare bedroom to maintain spaciousness in our bedroom while allowing for a large enough wardrobe for both of us. We achieved this by hacking away the wall between the master bedroom and spare bedroom.
  • That's a wrap for our very simple yet cosy bedroom!
