    • Everything here is thrifted too, including the cabinet and large art painting (which we found on carousell for free). It makes a beautiful corner just in between our dining table and the living room. We also made a little DIY cafe menu such that it is facing our cafe corner.
    • All furnitures posted in the living room are thrifted, another favourite corner of ours!
    • The open kitchen concept and countertop calls for us to turn this into a home cafe corner. As we love hosting friends over, this spot quickly became everyone’s favourite corner for a good cuppa and conversations
    • Curtains (thrifted from Carousell) really helps to set the mood and to stay away from harsh sunlight. High floor living also means blinding brightness in the day
    • High floor living also works out for a beautiful night view

    • A different perspective of the kitchen and dining area from our living room
    • We have been having fun with our little alcohol collection placed beside the dining area
    • A Bonus Peek: Our Green Entrance One more little corner we love, our entrance! One of our housemates has lovingly groomed and grown a variety of little plants (and quirky critter décor) to frame our doorway. It’s the first thing you see when you come home, and it instantly sets the mood. Think: a mini jungle greeting you after a long day. It’s these small, thoughtful touches that really make our rental HDB feel like home. We’re all working millennials hustling through our 9-to-6, and this space is our sanctuary. Minimal clutter, warm lights, cozy corners, just a calm, grounding place to land after the chaos of the day. And this is just the beginning. We’ll be sharing more nooks and stories from our communal home soon. Whether you’re hunting for small-space inspiration, budget-friendly home ideas, or simply curious how four adults are thriving in shared living.
