One of the many questions our friends and family often ask is βWhy everything in your house so nice one?β and weβd like to think that itβs because we are often quite intentional with the items we buy! π€ Being creative is our job and definitely played a part in our curation but we want to share some of the items that we love and some tips that we think will help you to turn some heads (in a good way). πβ¨ 
The first item that we want to share is this TWEMCO Calendar Wall clock! We actually had this clock still in its delivery packaging since last year and only placed this up recently because we wanted a clock in our work space. β° We wanted a clock that was not just your typical one with hour and minute hands and also not with digital numbers so this fit perfectly. We love that the clock tells us both time and date, but also had a flip mechanic. Even better, it looked beautiful with its bright yellow body on our shelf. π π‘Tip: Look for alternatives to the same type of item! Each item will bring out a different feeling from their looks and this will help bring some freshness to your space. (e.g. All clocks tell time, but they all show time in a different way!) 
Next up, we have our tissue holder in our living room! We initially got this tissue holder because it reminded us of the old school tissue dispensers mounted in the toilet and we figured it would be fun to have that element placed outside. π Instead of mounting it, we placed it on its side so that we can still pull the tissue from the side. With its bright red, the tissue holder really stood out and brought up a lot of questions from guests who come over. Some thought that it looked like a letter box and others thought it was supposed to be a container. It sparked conversation and we love that it created more interaction. π¬ π‘Tip: Placing your items outside of their usual spots can help to stoke some curiosity and spark conversation! Look for new ways and places to show your items and you might be surprised! 
One of our housewarming gifts, are these beautiful tins which we have set on our shoe rack. These tins are not just aesthetic but also help us to hide away Xiao Heiβs many many cat treats as well as some of our own treats! πββ¬ π‘Tip: Getting items that are practical and used daily can also be aesthetic and used as statement pieces to add to a space. 
Lastly we have smaller items which we use daily; our fun burger coaster and our plates and cups! We bought these items for the fun that they bring to our home and they have not disappointed. π When our family comes over, the kids often jump onto the chance to play with the burger coaster, rearranging the burger in the order they like or removing their βfavouriteβ vegetables to make the best burger. π‘Tip: Always have fun when decorating your home otherwise itβll be such a drag! We hope that our tips would help provide you a different perspective to approaching home decor!
