    • Hello everyone! It's been a couple of weeks since our last post. We have taken some time off work and our hectic schedules to visit Taiwan. We're happy to be back, feeling recharged and energized! Today, we will be sharing our interior styling tips, aesthetic items that you can consider to elevate your home!
    • Starting off at the entryway, we created a curved niche in our carpentry, fitted with LED strip at the back. Over here, we placed some fragrances such as perfumes, essential oil and diffusers, along with some photoframes of us, our popmart figurines and our one and only miffy plushy. We get a lot of questions about our ceramic clock, it is from @wallfleurthings on instagram. We are not sponsored by them at all, but good things must share haha. It is not cheap, but we have no regrets spending $200+ on it. Most of our interior styling items are quite personalised and functional - i.e. we did not specifically buy an empty book cover just to make the place looks nice.
    • Bring life to your neutral space with the timeless elegance of a faux tree. It adds a touch of nature, elevates the ambiance, and infuses your home with texture and vibrancy—all while maintaining effortless style. 🌿✨ We got our faux tree from The Nursery Singapore. We visited the shop physically and picked this tree.
    • During our travels, we have 1 criteria - to bring something back that can be used as a decor. This is a pretty good idea to start conversations from various areas of the house when we have guest over. We are also reminded of our travel adventures whenever we lay our eyes on them. Feels like the house is growing with us too.
    • Check out that whale vase we bought from Taiwan! This is our most recent purchase hehe! Still haven't arranged a floral/fauna bouquet for it though. Another thing that we would share is the importance of lights! Lights and its illumination not only elevates the space but also defines the ambience. The lamp in this picture is by Sonodesign, a local 3D lamp printing company, started by a young lad who still is schooling. You can also find him on instagram :) Ah... young people nowadays unleash so much potential and already doing so well at their age! What an inspiration.
    • "家和万事兴" which translates to "When the family lives in harmony, all affairs will prosper." This quote is a daily reminder that when there is peace, understanding, and cooperation within the family, it creates a positive environment that supports success in other areas, such as work, health, and relationships. This bears so much meaning and also covers our modem! Right next to it is a rose quartz tree, that we also purchased from Taiwan. Not sure whether any of the readers here are crystal lovers or collectors but Taiwan has so many shops selling all sorts of crystal!
    • Layer your lighting with a combination of ambient, task, and accent lighting. Pendant lights, table lamps, sconces, and floor lamps can create warmth and highlight key features of the room. The small the lamp, the bigger the accent!
    • This framed art work is from prettymajorhome. We hung up this art piece behind our dining table. Turn a blank wall into a statement piece with the power of artwork. Whether bold or subtle, a beautiful print can add personality, color, and life to any space. 🎨✨
    • Over in our kitchen, we create the perfect cozy coffee corner—where comfort meets warmth, and every sip feels like a hug. ☕️✨ Simple styled with a faux rosemary plant, a butterbear figurine (can you spot it?) and reed diffuser from Hooga.
    • We recently started this hobby, where we collect postcards and caricatures from places we have visited. One postcard at a time, we’re collecting memories from every country we’ve explored. Each one tells a story, a piece of our journey around the world. 🌍✈️
    • In our master bedroom, we accented the room with wallpaper, covering the biggest stretch of wall. Then we furnished up a cosy corner with a lounge chair and side table, styled with reed diffuser and 'melody and kuromi' POPMART figurine. Styling the house is always a work in progress and we still have much to learn, such as playing with height and depth so that the space will be less flat. Nonetheless, we hope that you will find some of the tips helpful. See you in our next post! :D
