Our carpentry breakdown - would recommend putting more time and effort into deciding and discussing this with your ID/ carpenter to ensure it fits your lifestyle. Key decision points are drawers vs hangers and their heights 
We stick to the same thin hangers for consistency and easier packing of clothes together Definitely recommend adding sensor lights for easy finding of clothes We maximise space by getting special hangers Pants hanger for 5-7 pants collapsed vs -> How it looks like when extended Also love these multi layer hangers for shirts and we found them to work well for crop tops Drawer dividers help to delineate our clothes while compacting them 
Along with storage containers The top part of our wardrobe is dedicated to storage and for now we keep additional pillows/ beddings, bags, swim wear, and winter clothes
