  • Welcome to houseonredhill! As the name suggests, our home is a 4-room resale located in Redhill. We have been living in this space we call our home for almost a year. We spent approx. SGD60K on our reno! Here’s our bright and airy living room with an unblocked view of the city which immediately took our breaths away and got us sold during our initial viewing of the house.
  • Our home was designed with a scandi minimalist theme with soft neutral and creamy palettes.
  • We also DIY-ed our living room feature wall with limewash painting!
  • Another feature of our living room was the arch that we decided to add in last minute halfway into our reno. The idea was to conceal the aircon trunking connecting the 3 bedrooms.
  • Next up is our dining room where we host family and friends. The feature of the dining room is definitely this one of a kind suar wood wooden slab table which we have received many compliments by far!
  • We have always envisioned an open concept kitchen! When we first the keys to our house, the kitchen was separated by a wall beside the main entrance. We hacked away the wall separating the kitchen from the main corridor/foyer, as well as half a wall of the original kitchen to create an extended island. We never regretted doing this although it was $$$ 😮‍💨
  • We also love how the kitchen island gives off cafe vibes and also allows more light into the kitchen!
  • Our common bathroom is designed with a neutral and woody palette in mind. All of our bathroom fittings (except the toilet bowl and shower fittings) were sourced from Taobao!
  • In one of the study rooms, we decided to add a bay window settee for extra storage space. We also customised our settee cushion from taobao and saved tons of money from doing this!
  • We kept the reno works pretty simple with minimal carpentry for our master bedroom.
  • We decided to go for a darker theme for our master bedroom bathroom, in contrast with the neutral tones in our common bathroom.
