Keep things simple: Grey and white dining area

Hi welcome to our dining area. The colour theme of our dining area is grey, black and white which fits into the modern contemporary style of our home. We kept it simple so that it’s easy to keep things neat. The dining table is a round marble table that we brought it over from our previous home because it’s still in good condition and I really like it even after all these years. We only replaced the dining chairs but still kept with the grey seats as the previous chairs were also grey in colour.
As you can tell we switch the rooms of the dining area and utility room. In original layout of our maisonette, our dining area was supposedly the utility room. However as we do not require such a big dining area as we are a family of 3. We changed the layout of the house and the original dining room was made into a study room. We hacked down the wall for the utility room and created the dining room there so that it’s more open and easy to access to the kitchen.
This area is still big enough to put a 1.6M long rectangle dining table. However I prefer a round dining table. There is a window right in this room which is great as it allows sunlight to come in and provides ventilation.

We have also installed air conditioning for the dining area as well as with all the other rooms in our home.
