  • Our open kitchen is the beating heart and statement piece of our home! From whipping up a quick snack to hosting epic dinner parties, friends and family can gather, chat, and maybe even lend a hand (or just grab a drink from the fridge). So when I say my open kitchen is the statement of my house, I'm not kidding. It's where the magic—and the mess—happens, and I wouldn't have it any other way!
  • Gone are the days of rigidly segmented living spaces. What sets our open-closed concept kitchen apart is its ability to transform with a simple gesture. With the slide of a door or the pull of a screen, the kitchen can be enclosed, providing a sanctuary for focused culinary endeavors or a discreet space for messy meal prep. This versatility ensures that the kitchen remains functional and practical, accommodating various activities and preferences without sacrificing style or cohesion.
  • Hidden feature alert~ I wanted an island in the middle so it doesn't look so bare since the kitchen is of a squarish layout. It also serves as an extra counter and storage space. Also, it's ~moveable~ so I can shift it around or even out of the kitchen if need be!
  • But perhaps the most compelling aspect of our open-closed concept kitchen is its ability to reflect our personality and aesthetic preferences with the help of little gadgets and knick-knacks! Here are some of our recommended products for our kitchen that we cannot live without!
  • 1) Sink Rinser
  • 2) Wells The One Water Dispenser + Home Café (highly recommend!)
  • 3) Eubiq Power Track so we can switch out appliances 4) Thermomix + Air Fryer - two appliances I will always recommend
  • 5) *Bonus* if you have a Eubiq Power Track, get the speaker as well if you love to dance, sing or just be silly while cooking
  • 6) Customised Hob Cover since we are pawrents to prevent dust or fur from settling inside the hob
  • By seamlessly integrating form and function, connectivity and privacy, it elevates the kitchen from a mere utilitarian space to a hub of activity and creativity, where memories are made and traditions are forged. As we embrace the fluidity of contemporary living, the open-closed concept kitchen stands as a testament to the power of design to enhance our lives in meaningful and transformative ways.
