  • With a small kitchen, maximising counterspace for food preparations comes hand in hand with ensuring that we have sufficient storage space for all our supplies. We have done so by having both top-hung and bottom cabinets on both sides of our kitchen, with several deep drawers. We'll be showing you two of our favourite storage solutions for our small kitchen.
  • To keep small items organised and easily accessible, we have utilised storage containers and labelled them according to each category. This helps us retrieve ingredients quickly in the midst of the cooking process. It's also useful for taking stock of what items we still have or are running low on, reducing the chances of over-buying when we go grocery shopping.
  • Our kitchen peninsula is extra wide, with space underneath for keeping bar stools out of the way and a cabinet that houses 2 deep drawers.
  • The dishwasher has been strategically placed between the sink and the deep drawers, enhancing our workflow during cleanup. Dishes are rinsed and placed into the dishwasher on the left of the sink. After the dishes are washed and dried, the clean dishes are then organised into the drawer on the left of the dishwasher. We have purchased plate and bowl organisers from Shopee so that the process of retrieving and returning dishes is seamless. With sufficiently deep drawers, we're able to place large serving dishes upright too.
