  • Hey there again from @alilbto! 🙂 In this post, we'll be sharing about the different lights we have in our bedroom and how we use different lighting to change the mood within our bedroom! The lights we've installed in our bedrooms are smart lights too, so please feel free to draw some inspiration from us if you're intending to make your home smart!
  • After the sun sets, these are the two main types of lighting we rely on to light up the space within our master bedroom: 1) Boba from Sol Luminaire 2) HAGA Coveless Cove Lighting from Lune Brillante Continue reading to find out more about the differences between these 2 types of lighting and how we're using them based on our different needs!
  • HAGA Coveless Cove Lighting from Lune Brillante Although there are numerous types of cove lights available in the market, here are a few reasons why we chose Lune Brillante's Coveless Cove Lights for our bedroom! 1) No false ceiling required - unlike traditional cove lights, the HAGA solution does not require a false ceiling to be built and can be easily installed on any walls! 2) They're smart lights! which means that they integrate perfectly into our smart home! :) We're able to easily control our HAGA lights via the TUYA app wherever and whenever, which means we can even turn on our lights before we reach home at night, or even automate when we want them to turn on/off every day! 3) Wide range of lighting temperature - we're able to adjust the temperate of our HAGA lights to our liking, with temperatures varying from 2700K (warm white) to 6000K (daylight) 4) Dimmable - the HAGA lights are also dimmable, and we can adjust how bright we'd like them to be depending on our mood for the night
  • Here's how bright the HAGA lights are based on its varying % brightness! 100% - we find the HAGA's 100% brightness to be sufficient if we need the room to be very brightly lit! 25% - perfect for some quiet reading/the moments before we head to bed :)
  • Boba from Sol Luminaire These lights are inspired by bubble tea and besides how fun they look, they're also super practical smart lights! Besides the HAGA solution, these are the other main lights we have in our master bedroom We have 3 Bobas within our master bedroom - of which 2 of them are clustered together as shown, while the last Boba is hanging out by itself behind a beam within our master bedroom We find the 3 Boba lights we have to be more than sufficient to brightly light up our room at night. They're super bright at their maximum brightness Other times, when we don't require our room to be so bright, we will dim them down slightly! The more you dim the Bobas down, the warmer they get - what you see pictured are the Bobas when they've been dimmed down to their lowest possible :)
