In the heart of our home lies a space that epitomizes comfort, style, and personal touches – our living room. Defined by a harmonious blend of wooden furniture and subtle rattan accents, this space exudes a warm and inviting ambiance that reflects our unique taste and personality. Adding to the Scandinavian-inspired aesthetic are the rattan accents thoughtfully incorporated throughout the room. From the vase holders to the TV console, these natural elements bring a touch of earthiness and texture, balancing the sleekness of the wooden furniture.
As you can see the intricate arch at the backdrop of our living room, it was my meticulously hand drawn by my husband using a thread and a pencil, with the colour contrast of two tone paint colours, this definitely added visual interest to the living room. At the focal point stands the living room cabinet, a versatile piece that not only provides ample storage with its drawers but also adds a touch of modernity with its built-in LED lights.
Adorned with glass displays, it showcases cherished mementos, from wedding gifts to vow cards and handmade ceramic pot collections, adding a sentimental charm to the room.

Completing the ensemble is the carpet, which exudes Nordic vibes with its subtle patterns and soft texture, inviting us to sink our toes into its plush surface as we unwind and relax in this haven of tranquility. Complementing this soft touches are the curtains meticulously crafted by my parents-in-law, featuring blackout and day curtains that not only enhance privacy but also infuse the room with softness and elegance.

To further enhance the ambiance of our living room, we adorned a wabi sabi vase with delicate dried pampas grass, adding a touch of natural beauty and rustic charm to the space.
Our rattan wooden sofa with beige washable cushions stands as the centerpiece of comfort and functionality in our living room, proving to be the best buy we've ever made.
