Hello, Communa Community! We’ve missed you all! As you know, we had to sit out a season because our place was being used for filming. What an experience it was to see our home transformed for the cameras!📸🎥 #PS: If you’re open to the idea, renting out your place for filming is such a unique way to earn extra income. Plus, it’s a whole new way to see your space shine! Ok! For our first post, let me show you how I style my living room✨ We used to have a boucle coffee table, and after having it for almost a year, here’s what I learned—it’s gorgeous and aesthetically pleasing, but not the most practical choice. Being a fabric type, it was so tedious to keep clean. Definitely a style statement, but not so functional for everyday use! ): Check out how sturdy this coffee table is!🤍 As you can see, our new coffee table from Castlery is such an upgrade! It’s made of heavy stone, which not only looks stunning but is super practical too. Cleaning it is a breeze—just a quick wipe, and it’s good as new! Unlike our previous fabric coffee table, we don’t have to worry about spills or stains. Plus, it’s sturdy enough to hold decorative vases like these, giving us peace of mind while adding that stylish touch. It’s the perfect blend of form and function! Having a dedicated spot to store all our remotes is such a game-changer! Instead of losing them between couch cushions or having them scattered around, everything is in one place, making the living room feel more organized. It’s such a simple addition, but it keeps things tidy and accessible—no more wasting time searching for the remote! We’re not really used to having squarish pillows in our living room, let alone ones with color! We’ve always stuck to a neutral palette of whites and beiges. While that minimalist look is beautiful, we’ve learned that having all plain colors can be tricky to maintain—they tend to show every little mark or stain. Adding colors and textured pillows has been such a refreshing change! They’re easier to maintain, and they bring so much character and energy to the space. The minimal corner. I personally love keeping my space minimal when it comes to displays or furniture. The more items you have, the more dust they tend to attract, which means extra cleaning and maintenance. A simpler setup not only keeps the space looking clean and airy but also makes it so much easier to manage day-to-day.
