    • Hi everyone, welcome to our scandi kitchen! If you are looking for a quick overview, I created a separate post - head to my profile to check it out :) In this post, I will share more about how we organise our kitchen!
    • As you can see, our kitchen is really small.. we really had to make the best out of whatever space we had :) I think this is a common problem for the newer condos - we don't have much space to work with.
    • Tip #1. Plan your carpentry! My husband and I spent a lot of time during renovation planning out the space and how we wanted to use our cupboards.. we knew that we have limited cupboard space that is easily accessible - so we must use them for the most important purposes! Here, we used the lowest cupboards to store everyday mugs. The everyday mugs are also conveniently located above the water dispenser. we host friends all the time, and when they come over, we point them to the cupboard and the water dispenser and its very convenient for them to get water whenever they want :)
    • Tip #2. Install pull down racks. There is some controversy here... some people prefer sink side racks. For us, we just didn't have the space to install sink side racks - it would take too much space from the countertop! We need the countertop space for food prep etc. This pull down rack is so convenient for us to use. The only regret... is that our top shelve can only hold small plates.
    • As a work around, we bought a small disk rack from IKEA here :)
    • Tip #3. Install vertical cabinetry!! These are so useful for tall items like seasoning... and
    • water bottles!
    • Photo from another angle :) We also position this right beside our gas hood/induction cooker for easy access to seasoning while cooking!
    • Tip #4. Use organisers! They always make drawers look less cluttered and somehow create more space for storage.
    • For example, with this drawer we purchased from shoppee, we are able to make use of the vertical space under our sink.
    • Tip #5. Don't waste wall space! We installed hooks on the wall to hang our towels.
    • This is what the hooks look like.
    • Same goes for the sink... purchase this sponge from shoppee and install it in your sink. easy way to keep dirty sponges. that's all for now folks! follow for more posts!
