  • Hi!! Hope your weekend has been wonderful :) This is a glimpse of B's "mancave"/study area. - the smallest room of our home. B opted for a minimalist space that is able to hide clutter. We also chose to not have any carpentry in this room so that we could decide on the layout of the room at a later date of the renovation, and to have the flexibility of using this room for other purposes. This room has been used for mahjong nights when our cousins and friends come over, even playing until 5am and we believe the walls, windows and blinds help block out the noise of the mahjong tiles because we have yet to receive any complaints from our neighbours heh. We bought a bookshelf from IKEA to store our things and also have a place for us to display some items. It is mostly used by B and to store our figurines (more on those at the end of this post!).
  • B has the occasional work-from-home perks, although they are extremely rare. When those WFH days do happen, this is his "hiding spot". His free time is also spent gaming with his friends on Valorant, Fortnite, or the most recent Black Myth: Wukong. Due to the nature of my job, which requires me to never have any work to do at home, we decided to only have one workstation and if I ever need to use the computer, I will just use B's. If not, I am mostly only using my iPad.
  • B built his own computer with his friends during uni days to his own specifications for their gaming purposes. I'm always fascinated to see the colours when I turn it on.
  • These are the little knick-knacks of B, and a little diffuser that was one of our door gifts from our wedding dinner hehe.
  • This is just a little corner that has found a home for B's exercise equipment and our roborock. B does his static exercises in this room and it has sufficient space to do his usual pushups and situps. Our roborock has been a tremedous help. Even though we also own a Dyson, having a roborock is extremely beneficial too. On days that we have guests over, it is so easy for us to send it one round before and after our guests come. Perfect for giving us the time to get busy preparing food and other things.
  • These 2 figurines are mine and I got them from China's Popmart from my Shanghai and Guangzhou trip respectively. I was so hoping to get Belle from Beauty & The Beast. Fun Fact: Our first movie together was Beauty & The Beast, and it has remained as a movie that I hold many fond memories dearly.
  • These 2 are B's. The things we like are truly on the extreme ends of the spectrum haha.
  • And these are the stuff toys from our wedding dinner hehe. The 2 bigger bears are wearing a tuxedo and a wedding gown. These were placed in our hotel room. And the 2 mini bears were placed at individual seats during the banquet itself. They were incredibly cute and I couldn't *bear* to not bring them home (geddit geddit heh). I hope you guys are bearing with us well with our home tour so far. Till the next one!
