  • Welcome to the master bathroom! To recreate the luxe hotel experience at home, we chose these large format (1200 x 600mm) marble-like wall tiles and gold tapware; and complemented them with pops of white (sink and carpentry). In line with the rest of the house, we also requested for curves to be incorporated in the bathroom (hint: check out the mirror cabinet, sink, and bottom cabinet!)
  • We wanted a mirror cabinet to maximise our storage space and keep small daily-use items. We specifically requested for a long hole to be cut out at the bottom of the cabinet. Can you guess what it is for?
  • If you guessed tissue, you’re right! Doing so saves countertop space and reduces clutter; but is still very easily accessible!
  • Here’s the other side of the bathroom, where our shower is. We opted for a half-wall, half-glass partition, which strikes a balance between hiding our (many) soap bottles, while still making the area look wide.
  • We were considering between having a niche or ledge for the shower area; and were glad we went with the latter, as it gives us more space to put our soap bottles! We also installed a ventilation fan to help keep our bathroom smelling fresh and dry.
  • Here’s the view from the shower! The wall and floor tiles have the same grey-ish shade and similar grain patterns, which help make the entire bathroom look wider and more seamless. Peep our arch mirror french doors too, which leads to our master bedroom (check out our earlier post if you haven’t already done so!)
