    • Welcome to my 2.2m dining table! I come from a big family with many cousins. Having a longer and bigger table is always a good idea when hosting. I never belive in having a small dining table because I am a SINK or if I'm a DINK. We will never know if we need that space.
    • Different lighting will bring about different moods at home! I tend to use the cove downlight when I have more people in the home!
    • Another benefit of having a longer dining table also extends and increases the visual space in the home. It widens up the home and the dining table can become a statement piece! Having flowers as an accessory for the table also softens the wood look. Tip: Don't need to wait for an occasion to get those flowers. Brighten up your own day and have those flowers in the home for an added look!
    • I tend to gravitate towards this Japandi Ball dining light more as it gives that soft look. Lighting is another consideration when designing your home. It is one big "accessory" that will bring out the mood, theme and feels of the home.
    • Just these lights is actually sufficient to light up the space for meals! Really in love with these ball lights.
    • Another option will be having a plant on your dining table! I was never a plant person until I was convinced that plants will soften the look in the home. If you thought about how I have this space, you are right! I hacked bedroom 3 to achieve this space. In a 1001sqft home, the space for dining table is really limited. Due to layout of my home, there are walls that block light and wind. The original maximum length of table I could get was only 1.4m. To get 1.5m table is already quite a stretch. So it was with no hesitation, a room has got to go. I prioritise light, wind and open spaces a lot!
    • Sneak preview of my tableware! I love how I managed to find tableware that had the same look at my kitchen quartz! What are the odds!
