  • I remember fretting quite a bit when planning the dining area. We considered various options, such as placing it behind the sofa, adding an island, and deciding on the appropriate length for the dining table. We wanted to ensure that the space was not too cramped or out of place. Ultimately, we opted for a flexible arrangement that did not include an island. This decision has proven to work well for us, as we are able to rearrange the dining table in two different layouts, depending on our needs. While certain design elements like islands can be visually appealing, it's also important to take into account the flexibility and versatility of various areas in a living space. It's important to consider how each element of the design will function and how it can adapt to different needs over time.
  • We can accommodate up to 10 people on this 1.8m dining table, although it may be a bit snug, it sure is cosy!
  • Surprise! Can you see what is the difference between the pictures? Here is how the dining area look like when we open up the hidden panels. In it we have a the storeroom (we carved out space for additional storeroom space) and the other side we shelves for shoes and a mirror to check ourselves out before we head out!
