I've designed my living room to be a cosy retreat. Neutral tones of beige and cream were used to create a soothing atmosphere, with soft textures adding a sense of cosiness. The soft furnishings bring subtle character without overwhelming the space. It's where I go to unwind, read a book, or chill out. No fuss, just comfort.
Choosing sheer white curtains allows soft natural light to filter through and create an airy, open atmosphere.
To elevate my neutral space, I incorporate pops of colour through carefully curated soft furnishings. Vibrant book covers, minimalist silhouettes, and warm lighting strike the perfect balance between calm and visual interest.
I love how the soft creams, beiges, and tans in my living room blend together seamlessly, and then – boom! – a pop of red adds a cozy kick.
