  • Here's the most frequently asked questions on my social media about our home: 1. What is your paint code? We're using Nippon Light Wings for all walls and Nippon Mobe Pearl for this wall tagged in the photo. I love the milky tone!
  • 2. Where is your sofa from? Is it comfy? It is from Shopee! It's not as comfy as a conventional sofa as it will "sink" down. But it's great for doubling up as a day bed due to the flat surface. The cushion covers are removable for washing but the rest of the fabric are not. Aesthetics wise, it definitely fits into our home perfectly with its simple design and neutral colour. Someone once commented that they look like tofu blocks and I can't unsee that after! LOL.
  • 3. How to turn on your tap?? Where is it from? This is what all guests ask when they use our kitchen faucet lol. It is touch activated so you need to just touch anywhere along the neck to turn on or off the water flow! This is super useful when your hands are dirty / dripping with soap as you can use a clean part of your arm to activate it. This prevents the handle and countertop from getting wet! The pull down sprayer is also very handy for washing the sink. It's from Shopee and has been working well for over 2 years so I'd definitely recommend it at this price point!
  • 4. What material is your flooring? Is it difficult to upkeep? We get alot of comments saying our floor looks great. It's actually just cement screed flooring, without any coating. While it looks good, you'd have to be able to accept all the cracks and imperfections such as pits or roughness. I think our contractor didn't do a very good job, so research and get someone experienced with cement floors to do this! A coating is also recommended for easier cleaning. Without any coating the floor is abit rough and difficult for a mop to go over smoothly. In terms of aesthetics, I do like it and cracks do add some character. Truly wabi sabi haha.
