For our master bathroom, we were inspired by Muji Hotel's grey and wood aesthetic. We had to have a bathtub because we both love soaking! The wood tiles as a feature wall add to the spa vibes. We have simple holders for our soap bottles instead of building a ledge which was what we wanted initially. This saved us $480! On the other side of the bathroom, we have a built-in vanity. To reduce cost, we didn't get a built-in mirror cabinet. We got a 3-tone LED mirror which cost less than $100. The warm backlight provides soft lighting for when we want to relax in the tub. I have a love-hate situation with the sink. While I LOVE the matte and squarish look of the sink, it is too shallow and water doesn't drain well with its flat-bottomed design. Our bathroom is minimal, apart from the feature wall. I would say this window netting is the BEST thing in the house! Because it keeps creepy crawlies which I am deathly afraid of outside, while allowing the window to be opened for ventilation. It takes some effort to install it yourself but well worth it!!
