  • Welcome to our half-green study room, cat room and erm husband’s room 🤭 this is truly the room that we maximize the most and have multiple uses for. Yet it’s also the room we did the least to, just painting the walls and installing a ceiling fan-light. The green on the walls is the pay tribute to our estate name and area, plus we always wanted some green in the house. P.S. Spot the James baby 🐱
  • We always knew this room will be more than just a study room but did not expect to get a cat so soon (one month into moving in) so it has now became the cat’s space as well.
  • For the study area, we have a standing desk and a chair we brought over from our previous place as it is still functioning well. This space is where Nigel spends the most time at when he is taking Zoom calls or preparing documents for his clients. Having a specific study space in our home is important as we do work at home quite abit. Of course we have something under the desk for our cat as he likes to accompany us in the day when we are working here.
  • This mushroom lamp was first intended for the tv console but Ven has decided that it looks cuter here and works as a night lamp for the 🐱 as well.
  • As the standing desk already takes up one power point, we knew we needed an extension cord here. However, it’s quite unslightly to have it sitting on the desk so Ven got this box to hide it + still able to easily access it to plug/unplug sockets.
  • The cat tree is placed right beside the desk and here is where James spend quite abit of time at night. Ven also got him his very own sofa 🤭 of course on green to match.
  • On the other side of room, we have James’ litter box and scratching board which he loves. The Unicharm litter box is so good! Minimal smell and easy to clean. So glad we got it as first time cat owners 🤗
  • In this corner, we have Nigel’s guitar on display (he hasn’t played it since we moved in) and a cat cam to watch James when we are out.
  • The Roborock robot vacuum also sits here and it’s one of our fave items in the home. We are in awe of how smart the technology is (able to identify a cat accurately when James is lingering around it) and how fuss-free as it self-empties and self-cleans. We have been thinking to shift things around this room but for now, this is what we have and we are glad to have this space that is flexible to fit our current needs 🤗
