  • Hi Everyone! My son is going to be 1 year old soon. So I would consider this a nursery converting to a toddler room soon. I did not hack any bedroom and I solely decorated the 2nd common bedroom for him while the 1st common bedroom is for guests where my mum comes to sleep sometimes. I bought a Parklon 230cm*150cm playmat and it is a very good purchase!! He fell a few times but the playmat cushioned his fall and so he didn't hit the hard wood tiles flooring. Also loving the Fika Floor Bed from Little Kingdom. He climbs down the bed himself and it is safer for infants or toddler to sleep on a floor bed.
  • I installed blinds in both my common bedrooms because of the awkward L-indentation of the wall with windows. It is also to save space. If I do curtains from ceiling, it will eat into the length of the already small bedroom. This is a picture when the blinds are closed. There is still some light leaks during the afternoon but my son is still able to sleep quite well.
  • My son likes me to on these at night while I sing twinkle twinkle little star and he will do this little opening and closing of his palms hand signing haha. I was thinking of putting more decor but my son is very mischievous and I am not sure if he will yank them off once he is tall enough haha.
  • I am ever so proud of fixing this solid wood montessori kids cabinet myself from Taobao. I am slowly transitioning him out of the cot while converting this from a nursery room to a kid's room. I will maybe buy a small table and chair and put it there at the cot area in the future.
  • I place diapers and his clothes on the top 2 rows so that he will not be able to reach. The toys are on the bottom shelvings. This encourages independence while playing. He also 'pack his toys' himself .. no la he just throw back these toys into the shelvings hahaha.
  • The white colour shelf can put books and also it can slide to the right. I actually hid some toys that are gifted by others behind but he is not of age to play them yet with small parts. Hide them so he will not touch. He also don't know it can slide ! haha
