  • We had initially owned many more plants before moving to our place, but decided against bringing all of them over since renovations were ongoing. The plants that we’ve brought over with us are hence, largely propagations from our “original” plants.
  • We chose to grow our propagated plants in the service yard because it was the best spot for indirect light, which our plants require. It also serves an aesthetic purpose — to brighten up our otherwise functional and grey service yard!
  • As you can see from this picture, we are quite lucky that the service yard is actually rather bright, even with half the blinds drawn!
  • We currently have a terrarium sitting amongst our books in our study. The amount of sunlight is suitable — full morning sun, and indirect light for the rest of the day — but it’s not the safest spot if we need to access our books!
  • For that reason, we’re thinking of setting up a plant corner in our living room instead, where things won’t get shifted around that much. Where do you keep your plants? Do you optimize for sunlight, or aesthetic? If this is something you’ve thought about, we’d love to hear your suggestions!
