No Frills, Just Function: Our Service Yard That Gets the Job Done

Our service yard sits at the back of the kitchen, separated by glass sliding doors to keep hanging laundry away from any cooking scents. The space is entirely free from built-ins so that we can configure it to our needs.
We store and hang our utility items in this Ikea Jostein shelving unit. We love that it's modular and that we can add on a couple more shelves if we need more storage space.

This handy magnetic hanger holder that sticks on the side of our washing machine helps us to store and organize our hangers out of sight.
Our service yard doesn't get much wind or sun, so having an electric laundry rack was a must. Our Steigen has definitely been useful in keeping our laundry fresh and crisp!
