  • Welcome to our humble nest! We are a couple living with our cat, Daikon, who's sure to make an appearance in some of our posts. Keep an eye out — you never know when she'll pop up in the background! As we open our home and showcase the little treasures within, we hope you feel the warmth and love that fills our heart. After all, our handle is @hellokokoro, where "kokoro" means heart! *** Today we are showcasing our dining area which features clean lines and warm tones. Our 1.6m quartz top dining table is paired with cozy chairs and a bench. The half-wall paneling adds a touch of rustic charm, while the pendant lights offer a modern industrial contrast. The open layout seamlessly connects the space, making it perfect for both everyday meals and entertaining guests.
  • From the bench, we can admire the view of the foyer. The arch mirror visually expands the space, making the dining area feels larger and airier.
  • Here’s another angle of the dining space. The curved frosted glass wall of the common bathroom beautifully softens the space, allowing natural light to flood the dining and living area. We
  • We also hung a pot of artificial plant to add a touch of greenery to the space. Tip: to ensure a hassle-free setup for future celebrations or decor, have a contractor install ceiling hooks. This will make hanging decorations, plants, or things like banners and balloons a breeze!
  • From the dining chairs, you can see our book altar adorned with personal treasures, the piano inviting musical moments, and the balcony where natural light streams in.
  • Our quartz stone table top, with its subtle pattern of natural specks, contrasts beautifully with the warm natural tones of the walnut veneer frame and metal legs (yes the legs are actually made of metal — which means no mould!).
  • Last but not least, we have the line 8 power track conveniently installed next to the dining table at an ideal height — especially great for those hotpot gatherings! We hope you enjoyed our simple yet functional dining area. It’s where countless meals and memories were shared. This space connects effortlessly to our living and foyer areas, creating a cohesive space. Explore our other posts for more photos!
