    • It's our most favourite time of the year! This year we have decided to spruce up our home Christmas decorations with humble oranges! We really love how the dried oranges give a good pop of colour and contrast on our tree.
    • Dehydrating orange slices and turning them into drink garnishes, Christmas ornaments and decorations can be a fun and easy holiday project. Dried oranges may also be a more eco-friendly and cheaper alternative to plastic ornaments. Plus, they smell heavenly during the dehydrating process!
    • We dehydrated the oranges in my dehydrator for 12 hours at 65 degrees. The orange slices were about ¼" in thickness. Note: be careful not to cut the orange slices too thin, or they will curl up during the drying process. Poke a small hole in each of the dried orange slices with a small pair of scissors and put a string through it to make the ornament.
    • Put up the dried orange ornaments and kick back with a glass of wine (or beverage of choice)!
    • The freshly dried oranges smelled so good, our furry daughter had to give it a little sniff!
    • Dried oranges can also be used to make an orange wreath! Simply use a hot glue gun to stick the oranges together and secure a few sprigs of rosemary with string to the wreath. While the orange wreath turned out well, I must say that they keep better indoors than outdoors due to the humidity in SG.
    • What is Christmas without mulled wine?? Making mulled wine is a little Christmas tradition of ours and we just love how the scent of mulled wine fills our home.
    • So much Christmas joy and magic with a warm cup of tea and a Christmas read!
    • Drawing and colouring on plain brown paper can be a great family/couple activity! We save on buying gift wrap as well ;)
    • If you're all for DIY, you may even wish to bake your own Christmas Yule Log! The recipe I used is from Preppy Kitchen. Definitely doable, as this is my first time making a log cake! We hope this post has brought you some Christmas joy and inspiration. Share with us your favourite Christmas food/drink! We would really love to know :D
