  • Hello Homies! This is our lovely bedroom, where we unwind in the evenings and also where we get ready in the mornings. Planning the layout for a 4 room BTO's master bedroom has its own limitation due to space, so we maximised the storage in our L-shaped wardrobe. Read on for 5 Tips for a clutter-free bedroom!
  • We opted for a muted color tone throughout our bedroom to create an calm and cozy ambience. Lamitak's salt microcement was love at first sight for us, and we use this laminate throughout our bedroom for a uniform look.
  • 1. Plan your wardrobe layout! Having designated space for your clothes in the wardrobe is a Must because no one enjoys digging from a messy wardrobe every morning! We had distinct choices of layout for both Mister and Missus: Huge drawers for Him and Long wardrobe for Her hence we shared our idea with ID and he fitted everything right in. Planning your wardrobe layout will allow you to fit in sooo much!
  • 2. Exposed drawers in our Wardrobe Not the most common layout for L-shaped wardrobe, we opted for exposed drawers in our wardrobe as we had the habit of folding our clothes in cabinets and we did not have additional space to cater for a free-standing one. We also opted for exposed drawers instead of concealed ones within the wardrobe for easier accessibility - this made our lives soooo much easier. Having one less cabinet just for drawers also make our bedroom space less cluttered, which we love!
  • 3. Hidden standing vanity Hidden at the front of our wardrobe is a full height hidden standing vanity with mirror! Our ID designed this with AA tracks so that we can move the shelves accordingly to the height we like. In here, we store our skincare, suncare (MUST!) and bath towels as this is the most accessible from our bathroom. We love that we can store so much in here, yet concealed within the space of our wardrobe - a Win for us!
  • 4. Hidden Flip-up for dressing table On the other side of the wardrobe, we have a dressing drawer for Her. This comes with a hidden flip-up portion for easy access to her makeup without having to remove everything on top of the dressing table. Having a flip-up also means more storage within, and less clutter on top of our dresser!
  • 5. Doubling up as bedside Table Having a Vanity table with a flip-up and drawer means that you can double it as a bedside table! We always love duo function piece of built-in and this 50cm Vanity table is definitely one of our favorite!
  • Creating a cozy yet functional bedroom has been our Dream and we are so happy that we could incorporated all these storage hscks into our tiny little bedroom! We hope this 5 tips to creating a cozy, clutter-free bedroom is helpful for your bedroom planning.
