  • Hi again, and welcome back to our dining space! As mentioned in our earlier post, we got bifold glass doors for entrance to our kitchen to keep in cooking smells. Similarly, we also got these bifold glass windows for our dining area! When we have guests, these also serve as pass-through windows for us to pass the food quickly to our guests. One key reason why we chose this dining table is because of its sintered stone top! Not only is it heat-, stain- and scratch-resistant, it matches perfectly with our kitchen’s backsplash and countertop, which creates a cohesive and seamless look.
  • Another reason why we chose this dining table and chair is because of their curves! We love how they complement the curves around our house.
  • Here’s a closer look at the dining table! It has fluted legs, which is also a design element that is incorporated throughout our house. We also love our room doors, which help make entire area look clean and seamless.
  • During the reno process, we were considering between a small fan or pendant light (we could not get both as the pendant light will be swaying if we switched on the fan); and were glad we went with the small fan! It is much more practical considering Singapore’s climate, and we managed to find these super cute recessed round lights, which look like boba balls stuck in our ceiling! The lights are dimmable too, which helps create a more cosy atmosphere at night.
  • For convenience, we added a two-gang socket here, for hotpot and Takoyaki gatherings. To add to the luxe aesthetic, we opted for a gold coloured socket! Thanks for reading, and stay tuned for a tour of our bedroom next week! IG: @robertslewzaijia
