  • Welcome to Our Entryway: A functional and cosy space for the whole family Our entryway is designed to make transitioning in and out of the house with two little kids as easy as possible. Whether it's a quick dash to school or a busy morning commute, we’ve placed everything we need right here for easy reach.
  • A large shoe storage system keeps things neat and organized, while a handy catch-all basket collects items waiting to be returned to friends and family. For the kids, the space encourages independence, with a low stool to sit on while putting on or taking off their shoes, and a dedicated rack for their school bags and water bottles—empowering them to manage their own tasks with ease.
  • My 2 year old keeps her shoes in the shoe cabinet. Even the littlest ones can help keep a space tidy if we set up the space for them to do so.
  • Our handy catch-all basket collects items waiting to be returned to friends and family (like your mother’s Tupperware). Smaller baskets hold items we need to take with us as we’re leaving the house - tissue paper, insect repellant and grocery shopping bags. Mix in a few decorative items like photos and dried flowers, along with the baskets to add some warmth to the space.
  • On the other side is our store room door, which we double up as storage for our swim bag and helmets by simply adding some magnetic hooks. Follow me on Instagram @themillennialaunty for a peek into how we make the most of our space every day, plus simple cooking tips you’ll love!
