  • However, with every flushed wall meant that we had little to no depth for cabinetry. Then came the dilemma of wanting to keep with the open kitchen and island concept or create some space for shoes. We opted for the former and had to be creative with storing our shoes. Storing them inside the lower part of the DB box, placing shoe cabinets outside, I’m sure you would have seen so many homeowners expanding their storage outside the house.

  • And behind the middle arch, it's @chewybobasaur's walk-in wardrobe! We found a nifty way to hide our dog's 101 harnesses and leashes with magnetic hooks on the bomb shelter door and things we reach out to on a daily basis. We're now on the hunt for more magnetic holders so we can store more daily items like wipes/insect repellent!
  • The two arches by the side serve as our display nook, depending on the season and time of the year we enjoy changing up the display pieces every now and then. No doubt the Christmas season has to be the best time to spruce this area!
