We loved the look of the American modern farmhouse - so wanted to incorporate that into our kitchen, with dramatic marble veined backsplash, shaker style cabinets, gold hardware throughout!
Night View :) We spend quite alot of time in the kitchen and we wanted to create a kitchen that was beautiful and very functional for us! It is quite a small galley layout kitchen, and we wanted to keep it semi open, open kitchen for ease of conversation and flow to the house, and closed kitchen via bifold windows and doors to trap the steak smoke :p
We hid our kitchen towel roll in the cabinet above our water dispenser (also essential) and it fits perfectly in the pelmet! We also hid our Aqara switches, nicely labeled, in the cabinet. In again the fabulous gold hardware that we love.
We love our multifunctional kitchen sink, which has an integrated cup washer, detergent dispenser, sponge holder and a tray/chopping board. We also felt the brass gold kitchen bar on the backsplash super useful in our other homes, plus a very beautiful element in kitchen. Non negotiable is the hot/cold water dispenser, and we chose the Jewel as it has the slimmest chassis body and does not take up more storage space below. Our dishwasher is also a table top size, mid sized 8 place settings function from Toshiba. We love the size and the sleek look of it!
With our ambient and task light that serves us extremely well! Our corner fan is also awesome to provide ventilation while cooking, and its not bulky at all.
We love our pull out tray, which sits our daily used coffee machine, rice cooker! Particularly added gold switches and the brass gold rod as we love the look. Interesting fact is that we 3D-printed the coffee pods dispenser ourselves! We can choose between 3 different choices of capsules :) Another favourite is our multifunctional Samsung oven - which does grill, oven, microwave, steaming, airfry, baking!! We don't need another appliance to take up space!
Our frequently used spice rack :) We sourced this ourselves as we wanted the stainless steel material rather than plastic/wood.
The open view of our galley kitchen, which includes our fridge, dry pantry, bar countertop (2 levels to hide any mess below)! Keeping to our gold hardware theme. We also have bifold windows, to allow us to have the closed/open kitchen optionality!
Recently lovin chilling at the island counter, we can even use laptop, with plugs to charge below, and sipping a drink. What a beautiful life!
