  • Hi Folks! We are finally back from our hiatus! After staying in our home for over a year, here are some of the factors we wished we would have known before choosing our flat! Without further ado, here are some considerations to note! 🏡 💰 Budget: This is probably the most important factor! Determine your budget carefully and stick to it. Don't forget to factor in additional costs like renovation and furnishings. More often than not, ID firms tend to charge a higher price for resale flats! Also, the level of unit plays a part it in as well! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Size and layout of the house: Assess your family's needs and lifestyle to determine the appropriate size. Consider requirements for kitchen space, living areas, bedrooms, and any other specific needs. Certain projects may also have layouts that does not allow much room for design free play, so those with itchy hands like us, be warned!
  • ☀️ Level of unit: Think about the wind, sunlight, and view. Higher floors usually offer better ventilation and views, but they might also be hotter. Consider privacy and whether you want to face your neighbors directly. For plant owners or potential plant owners, the amount of light coming through the window would determine the healthiness of your plants! 🚇 Amenities: Look for proximity to public transport for convenience. Access to multi-storey car parks (MSCP), markets, and food options can enhance your daily life!
  • 🌳 Environment: Consider the neighborhood vibe, nearby parks, and green spaces for relaxation and recreation. If you enjoy some peace and quiet as well, do think twice before going for a place that has high human traffic (Central area, near interchange, etc.) Remember, buying a home is a big commitment, so take your time to weigh all these factors carefully before making your decision. Happy house hunting! 🏠
